Richard Wilkinson is a professor emeritus of social epidemiology at the University of Nottingham Medical School, honorary professor at University College London, and a visiting professor at the University of York. Kate Pickett is a professor at the University of York and a career scientist with the United Kingdom’s National Institute for Health Research. Wilkinson and Pickett are cofounders of the Equality Trust.
